The Google Nexus 7 is a seven inches Android tablet produced conjointly by Google and ASUS. It is the first of three Nexus devices, the two others being the Google Nexus 4 smartphone and the Google Nexus 10 tablet. The Google Nexus 7 is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 3 SoC which has 1GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of internal storage. Networking-wise, the tablet has WiFi, 3G (optional) and NFC. The Nexus 7 was originally launched at Google I/O 2012 and was the flagship device for Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean. Google has priced the tablet aggressively at a price of $199.
