01/04/2010, Word is going around that Spotify could be launching its anticipated US edition of its service on the 5th of January, which would jive with the (supposedly) announcement of Google’s Nexus One. To further add credibility to this bit of news, the rumor also states that Spotify is in talks with Google over making the Spotify Android app a part of Android 2.1 and would come to Google’s Nexus One […]
01/03/2010, It looks like the folks over at Engadget have managed to get their hands on Google’s Nexus One a few days before the official announcement. With the phone in hand, high quality pictures of the device are now going around, and that’s always a good thing. Initial impressions indicate that the phone is slightly thinner than the iPhone, which is nice. The Nexus One will sport Google’s Android 2.1, 1GHz […]
01/02/2010, This is certainly far from confirmed, so we’d suggest you place it firmly in the rumor bin. The folks over at Boy Genius have got wind that there might be an AT&T 3G-compatible version of Google’s highly-anticipated Nexus One phone. There doesn’t seem to be much evidence supporting this at the moment, but we certainly wouldn’t mind AT&T offering the phone either, right? It’s just a few more days till […]
12/30/2009, It seems like Google’s Nexus One didn’t manage to make it to the official launch without somebody “rooting” it, which basically allows you root access, so you can delve deeper into the device’s file system, and do more or less whatever you want with it. A person named Paul is already staking claims that he created a boot.img file that automatically roots the Android 2.1 operating system when it’s booted. […]
12/30/2009, With the numerous bits and pieces of info regarding the Nexus One going around non-stop, it’s fairly obvious that the official announcement isn’t too far away, and it seems that it should be arriving on January 5th 2010. Google has scheduled a press gathering on said date, and it’d be a huge disappointment to many people if they didn’t announce the Nexus One on that date (but we’re fairly sure […]
12/29/2009, It seems like almost all the details of Google’s Nexus One have been revealed before the official launch. Next up we’ve got wind that the device will be going for $530 without a contract, unlocked, from Google. If you want to save a couple of bucks, you’ll also be able to pick it up at $180 if you agree to a 2-year contract with T-Mobile. Does the pricing suit you, […]
12/29/2009, The Nexus One handset seems to be a pretty hot piece of property at point of publishing, where the FCC is now looking at the Bluetooth Car Dock for the Nexus One. This device does make mention of the phone’s “trade name” which in essence, is the “Google Phone.” Anyone willing to wager that this rumor is fake, or do you think it is very real enough to drive Google […]
12/28/2009, Seems as though HTC is working on the release of the Nexus One Dock in the near future, where it will come with integrated Bluetooth connectivity as well. It can also hook up to a DVD player, but it does make one wonder what Bluetooth connectivity is there for. Anyone cares to take a guess?
12/23/2009, A rather jerky video of the Nexus One in action has surfaced on YouTube, giving some insight as to how the interface of the phone works and such. The animation of the phone is certainly intriguing, though it will be interesting to see how well it’s received by users when compared to the iPhone’s much-loved interface. Will 2010 be the year of Android’s dominance?
12/21/2009, The Google Nexus One is pretty much hyped up by everybody and their dog, as there is that bit of glimmer of hope to turn it into a iPhone killer very cool phone, although such a situation remains to be seen. 12/18/2009, Gasp! Could this be true? Google’s hyped up Nexus One smartphone might actually lack an ingredient which many of us have come to know and love – multitouch! Apparently, that’s the impression tnkgrl Mobile got after spending some time with the device, although it could be the case where multitouch is ready and raring to go, although Google has yet to enable the function in a possible effort to wow […]
12/17/2009, Now that most people have accepted the (still unofficial) situation that Google will be offering its own phone in 2010, speculation is growing that the company might also offer its own netbook. After all, we do know that Google has started to dip its feet into the OS market, and is working with the big boys such as Acer, ASUS, Freescale, HP, Lenovo and many others. That’s probably quite similar […]

12/16/2009, It looks like the evidence that the Nexus One is really the Google Phone is really stacking up, not that we needed convincing. Google has just recently trademarked the Nexus One name, so it’s probably going to do something with the name, right? Of course, there still any official word on anything bearing the name “Nexus One” just yet, but we’re sure that such news will surface sooner rather than […]
