Samsung Go netbook updated

Looks like the folks over at Samsung have decided to grant the Samsung Go netbook an update. While the new version looks like a Siamese twin of the original Samsung N310 from the outside, the real change comes underneath the chassis - we're talking about the inclusion of an Intel Atom Pine Trail 1.66GHz processor. Other specifications include Intel GMA 3150 graphics, a 10.1" display at 1,024 x 600 resolution, 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, Wi-Fi support, an SDHC memory card slot and the usual connectivity options. Also known as the Samsung N315, this updated netbook is going for $429 for a pre-order.

Samsung N150 netbook comes with more colors

If you want to boost the sales of your product, why not take the tried-and-tested route of introducing new colors to an existing model? That's what Samsung just did with their N150 netbook which is powered by Intel's latest Atom processor known as Pinetrail. It will now not only come in blue, but black, red, white, black matte, blue, yellow and pink as well. While the original Samsung N150 costs $349, those who opt for the tropical colors (the last four mentioned) will cost you an additional $10.

Samsung netbook gets AMOLED display

Samsung recently paraded a new netbook that will boast a 7" AMOLED display that has 1,024 x 600 resolution alongside a 16:9 contrast ratio for cinematic buffs, a brightness level of 300 cd/m2 and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. This ought to keep you drooling for quite some time, but we hope the future will bring something much larger than just 7" of viewing area - isn't it regressing to the early days of the Eee PC?
