09/21/2011, When we first covered the flexible Samsung Galaxy Skin back in June, it was presented as a pure design concept. Thanks to its flexible AMOLED display, the Galaxy Skin was thought about as a phone that can take on many shapes: clamshell, bracelet, elongated… Somehow, International Business Times (ibt) claims that this concept will turn into a real product which will launch in Q2 2012. As you can imagine, the […]
09/21/2011, The Galaxy S2 has been out in the rest of the world for quite some time now, and the Epic 4G Touch went on sale last week, the AT&T and T-Mobile version is still nowhere to be seen. Fortunately for AT&T subscribers, the wait is about to come to an end. In an official tweet posted today, AT&T announced that the Galaxy S2 will be available starting October 2nd. The […]
09/21/2011, A while back the Samsung SHV-E120L was spotted on a NenaMark test. Not much was known at that time apart from its processor, which is a 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, and its display resolution, which was listed as a pretty impressive 1280×720. Now it appears that more details surrounding the device has been revealed thanks to a leak, and it seems that it may be gunning for the LG LU6200. The […]
09/21/2011, The Samsung Galaxy Note seems to be the happy middle between a smartphone and a tablet, and while it does not appear that Samsung has plans to launch the device in the US market (hopefully that will change soon), Clove in the UK has apparently outed a release date for the device as far as the UK market is concerned.
09/21/2011, T-Mobile will be receiving a new version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab (which hopefully will not be banned elsewhere) soon, where it will not be known as the Galaxy Tab 7.7, but rather, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus. This will be an updated model to the first Galaxy Tab that got things going, and thanks to Tmonews.com, they managed to snag some pretty good looking images of it. It seems […]
09/20/2011, The consequences of the ruling against Samsung in Germany are still unraveling. As of late, it looks like the Galaxy Tab 8.9 has become suddenly “unavailable” on Amazon.de. There is no official reason behind it, but that sure looks like it has been pulled out, or maybe the stocks just ran out as no imports are allowed. In any case, German customers won’t get their hands on that one for […]
09/20/2011, If you’re keen on finding out the differences between the European Galaxy S2 and the Epic 4G Touch on Sprint, what better way to do it than to examine the insides of both devices? After all, both phones are pretty similar on a software level, but they could be different beasts underneath their hoods. Well, thanks to the folks over at iFixit, we won’t have to do the dirty work […]
09/20/2011, Just yesterday we reported that Samsung reportedly had plans to get back at Apple for their recent wave of lawsuits. It seems that Samsung was reported as having plans to ban Apple’s yet-to-be-announced iPhone 5 the minute it attempts to arrive in South Korea. Given how Apple has been on a crusade to get several of Samsung’s products banned in various parts of the world, it did seem rather fitting […]
09/20/2011, Samsung Apps decides to make a big do out of its second year in existence by unveiling a new version of the Apps Store, with Samsung Apps being made available first to Samsung Wave smartphones that are powered by their very own Bada 2.0 OS, while it will also spread around the world on the rest of the Samsung Galaxy family before the year is over.
09/20/2011, October is soon approaching, and with news of Ice Cream Sandwich being released on that month, people are expecting the release of a new flagship Android phone as well. And this time around, the phone in question is the Samsung Nexus Prime. Details about the phone have been leaked quite a number of times in the past, but nothing concrete or official has been announced yet. A Twitter user known […]
09/20/2011, Samsung was certainly bold when they decided to venture into the world of mobile operating systems with the Bada OS a couple of years ago, and sad to say it did not really take off as much as the suits at Samsung would have liked – I presume this is no biggie to Samsung since they’re doing extremely well with Android-powered smartphones in their stable.
09/19/2011, Epic 4G Touch Review - This very detailed review of the Epic Touch 4G covers the pro and cons of Sprint new phone based on the Galaxy S2 platform
09/19/2011, Remember when Samsung delivered their upcoming tablet that will run on the Windows operating system at the recently concluded BUILD conference by Microsoft to attendees? Just as expected, it isn’t too long before some of the attendees figured out that life is much more than just exclusive first hand experience with an unreleased tablet – having decided to put up their own BUILD tablet up for auction on eBay just […]
09/19/2011, Just last week we reported that the Samsung Epic Touch 4G had it source code released by Samsung, in an effort to give back to the Android developer’s community. Unfortunately at that time, the source code release and all its mods and ROMs that followed would be pretty much moot unless the device itself was rooted.
