This will be the second Android attempt from LG as their first was known as Etna, a QWERTY slider.

Qualcomm Highlights Snapdragon Platform
Posted on June 2, 2009 8:55 AM
Qualcomm has taken advantage of the Computex 2009 event by highlighting new advances in mobile connectivity and capabilities powered by its Snapdragon platform in a press conference. Qualcomm is also looking at a new range of mobile devices known as 'Smartbooks' that ought to offer yet another platform for mobile users to experience always-on connectivity and ultra-portability without sacrificing on performance and power. We're guessing a chipset to be at the heart of a new device that is smaller than a netbook and yet can do most, if not all the things a netbook can?
Eee PC Running On Android
Posted on June 1, 2009 6:42 AM

Behold, an Asus Eee PC that is powered by the Android operating system that is currently on display at Computex Taipei 2009. This operating system is lightweight enough to be used on smaller devices as well as smartphones, and the Eee PC felt rather smooth during operation although most folks would miss the graphical bells and whistles found on Windows XP. Underneath the hood was a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor that sipped very little power, hence doing away with the need for cooling, allowing the netbook to be thinned out further. In fact, current 1GHz chips are good enough to handle 720p video playback, while future iterations will see 1080p resolution supported.
