05/23/2011, Reuters has reported that Toyota and Salesforce.com Inc will be teaming up to build a special social network called “Toyota Friend”. You might be wondering – why doesn’t the company just make use of Facebook instead? It’s definitely not going to be able to compete against the social network mammoth and it doesn’t intend to. Toyota Friend will let people do one thing Facebook users can’t: befriend their own cars.
05/17/2011, California, the Golden State, might soon see parents being given the legal authority to control their child’s Facebook page if a new bill under consideration is passed, of course. Facebook won’t be the only site affected by this bill as other social networking sites will also fall under a similar law. This new bill will allow parents to remove personal information on childrens’ accounts at their request, and it has […]

How else are people supposed to keep in touch in real time apart from cell phones? Twitter has proved to be “an excellent system” according to doctors when it comes to communicating with chronically-ill patients. Japanese doctors claim […]

Burston-Marsteller sent major news outlets pitches about the privacy and legal issues concerning the service. Apparently Google Social Circles allows users to view information publicly available of other users connected to their Google Chat and Contacts, and includes data such […]

At the same time, […]
