10/13/2011, How large is your most spacious hard drive in your desktop at the moment? 1TB? Well, it seems that the ante is about to be upped by another level as boffins continue their unrelentless march towards improving current technology by walking towards tomorrow. It seems that a Seagate Middle East salesperson was reported to suffer from a case of the “slip of the tongue”, letting out Seagate’s future plans of […]
10/12/2011, While Amazon’s Kindle Fire has yet to be put to the test (its release is on the 15th of November), it has done rather well for itself in terms of pre-order sales, with reports last week that it managed to hit the 250,000 mark (we expect it’s probably more now). Without doubt its attractive price of $199 probably accounts for the widespread adoption, and if the rumors are to be […]
10/11/2011, While the Nexus Prime may have accidentally been outed as “coming soon”, many were wondering what the original reason behind the delay was to begin with. According to Samsung, the reason why the event has been pushed back is due to the company deciding to express their tribute to the passing of Steve Jobs, which sounds about right and a rather respectable move, especially considering that both Apple and Samsung […]
10/11/2011, Prior to the PS Vita existed the PSPgo, which was an expensive upgrade for players who may have invested heavily in UMD games for their PSP. Due to the not-so-significant update of the PSPgo compared to the PS Vita, it just did not make sense, but now with the PS Vita seeing huge improvements and new features, undoubtedly there will be plenty of PSP owners who are looking forward to […]
10/10/2011, We all know what a hit the iPhone 5 (now officially known as the iPhone 4S) would be, the question was not whether it would be a hit or not, but rather, just how big of a hit it would end up as. I guess the question has been answered upon hearing that this particular smartphone has already raked up more than a million in orders in pre-sales. Having said […]
10/10/2011, With the Samsung Galaxy Nexus/Nexus Prime/Droid Prime not even out the door, let alone seeing an official announcement or acknowledge about the device, and with the Samsung Galaxy S2 arriving in the US not too long ago, there has already been talk about a Samsung Galaxy S III, and it looks like it’s already in the works if the leaked photo above is to be believed.
10/07/2011, Normally, leaks concerning upcoming devices or perhaps the user interface of an operating system or program tend to be a blur, but hopefully with better camera sensors in devices these days (the iPhone 4S comes into mind), such occurrences will get rarer and rarer. We do hope to see screenshots that are similar in quality to the Ice Cream Sandwich shots you see above – it does seem as though […]
10/07/2011, One of the reasons why computer manufacturers are slow in adopting ultrabooks, even though they want to, is due to the costs of manufacturing. Now in order to reduce the costs of manufacturing and hopefully find a way to undercut Apple’s MacBook Air, Digitimes has reported that both Acer and ASUS are turning to an alternative material to be used as the casing of their ultrabooks.
10/06/2011, It goes without saying that any spy shots or a leaked device will come in a blurry shot most of the time – and the same can be said of what you see above, which could very well be a Dell Peju tablet. Just what the heck is a Dell Peju? It is not some sort of jujubes that you suck on whenever you suffer from a cough or sore […]
10/06/2011, The Samsung Nexus Prime, or rather the Galaxy Nexus (the Nexus Prime was just a codename for it) was thought to have been teased in Samsung’s Unpacked event teaser video, as pictured above. While specs of the device have only been speculated on, BGR has reportedly managed to get their hands on the full specifications of the device, which is expected to be unveiled at Samsung’s Unpacked event next Tuesday.
10/05/2011, A couple of days ago, we reported that there were rumors that Dell was planning on unveiling a new series of ultrabooks at CES next year. With the MacBook Air many are considering to be the ultrabook to beat, according to Digitime’s sources, Dell may have a 14” Uultrabook planned, with Wistron apparently responsible for the design and will supposedly have the prototype ready for Dell’s CES introduction next year.
10/03/2011, The MacBook Air is currently one of Apple’s best selling computers. Granted it’s not the cheapest Ultrabook around, but given its specs and its looks, it’s a price that some are willing to pay for. Dell, who is currently the number 3 PC manufacturer, reportedly has no plans to stop pumping out laptops until they have managed to create a challenger for Apple’s MacBook Air, and word has it that […]
10/03/2011, Given that Apple’s iPhone event is a little more than 24 hours away, it looks like maybe some carriers have gotten ahead of themselves and have either anticipated what Apple may be announcing, or they might have let the cat out of the bag a little too early.
10/03/2011, A while back, RIM made a statement claiming that they had no plans of bringing their BBM service over to other platforms (although there were rumors that suggested otherwise). At that time it was understandable given that BBM was one of the features that set Blackberry devices apart from other platforms. However with apps such as Whatsapp that allows for cross-platform message and iOS 5’s iMessage, BBM is facing some […]
