There is a Star Wars convention that is happening in Orlando, and it was discovered over there that the R2-D2 version of the recently released Droid 2 smartphone has been slated for a September 30 release, giving you slightly more than a month to persuade your missus that you absolutely need to chuck out the EVO 4G simply because you want to be on the Light Side of the Force. For those who are not in the know, the R2-D2 version of the Droid 2 has similar hardware specifications as with the Droid 2, except that it comes with the R2-D2 decal on the back in commemoration of the space opera saga.
