Parallels Mobile Brings Windows To iOS Devices (Kind Of)

Parallels is already a very useful virtual machine software for Mac that allows you to run Windows on top of Mac OS and now the company has taken it one step further with the unveiling of Parallels Mobile for iOS devices. While Parallels Mobile doesn’t allow you to install Windows on your iOS device, it does allow you to remotely access your operating system running in Parallels on remote machines, similar to how remote desktop clients work. While accessing your Windows machine from Parallels Mobile, you’ll obviously be able to print to your printer, and access Flash content (and whatever you’d normally do with a standard desktop). The software itself is free, but you’ll need a copy of Parallels Desktop 6 for Mac which should set you back $80. Check out a video of this in action after the jump.
