Apple Purchases HP's Former 98 Acre Campus In Cupertino

Apple seems to be going from strength to strength and now the fruity company has just expanded its Cupertino, California land holdings with the purchase of a 98 acre campus vacated by HP earlier this summer, a spot which is adjacent to the land Apple purchased back in 2006. According to reports, the land had been used by HP for a good 20 years before it moved out in order to consolidate its operations in Palo Alto nearby. It’s said that the HP site housed parts of the company’s personal computer division, along with some of its commercial software and hardware units. These two plots of land combined, makes the campus much larger than their Infinite Loop campus and as you can see from the map pictured above, that’s a hefty chunk of land.
