[CES 2012] Mophie has come to the rescue for many a thirsty gadget in the past, and they are doing to yet again with the Mophie juice pack powerstation. This is a powerful 4000mAh external battery which is said to be able to charge just about any device that can be powered via a USB connector, and this would include the iPad and its sequel, of course. Retailing for $79.95 a pop, the powerstation is Mophie’s most powerful battery yet, and has a charging output of up to 2.1 amps. It can also switch between a 500 mAh, 1 A and 2.1 A charge. The special high-output battery works differently from others in the market since it charges 4 times faster than traditional USB batteries, while improved conversion efficiency translates to more power to your device. Measuring a mere 2.28″ x 4.09″ x 0.53″, the Mophie juice pack powerstation should be on the top of the shopping list for frequent travelers.
