The jury is still out on this one – the photos of an alleged iPhone 5 (or next generation iPhone, depending on just how you want to call it) that you see above could be true, or it could be false. All we know is this, a Japanese repair house uploaded images of what resembled the upcoming iPhone from Apple some time ago, and it did send everyone into an iPhone 5 search frenzy. Now, Neowin claimed to have received images from an anonymous source in Bangkok, Thailand, of the possible next generation iPhone. Nothing is confirmed yet of course, and the source of the photos did admit that this particular iPhone captured does not work at all, and is a “non functional replica prototype.” Can we say dummy unit? Do you think that this will be the basis for the next generation iPhone? It would be cool if we could take a closer look at the dock connector, hoping to see 8-pins or 19-pins in the process.
