Just like many designs before it, we’re pretty sure that Google went through many revisions of their Android mascot design before finally landing on the one that we see now, but have you ever wondered what the original Android mascot designs looked like? Thanks to a Google+ post by Dan Morrill, the image you are looking at above was one of the early concepts that Google had cooked up. It should be noted that those drawings were merely a representation of Android that Google planned to use in an internal presentation of its Android API to Google developers, although we’re not sure if Google had seriously intended to launch Android using those doodles as its mascot. The final Android mascot was designed by a professional by the name of Irina Blok, and we’re sure that many of you guys can agree that it’s a good thing Google went with a professional because we’re not sure how seriously we might be able to take Android looking like that!
