lumia-630So word on the street has it that Nokia could be hosting an event on the 19th of April. It is unclear what Nokia will be announcing, but given that at MWC 2014 the company did not reveal any new Lumia handsets, chances are this event could be where Nokia might make some Windows Phone related announcements.

That being said, we have also heard that there are several Nokia Lumia devices in the works, such as the Lumia 930, 630 “Moneypenny”, and 635. There has also been talks about a certain Nokia “Martini” as well. However while the jury is still out on the rest of the devices, thanks to a recent post by @evleaks, the Nokia Lumia 630’s press rendering has been revealed.

The design of the phone really isn’t much to shout about, but as usually it does come in an assortment of bright colors which is something that Nokia is known for. It also appears that Nokia is keeping up with Microsoft’s relaxed requirements regarding hardware buttons and has removed the physical camera button from the phone.

Depending on the user, this can be seen as a good or bad thing since the physical camera button might be appreciated by those who might not prefer to use the virtual shutter release button on the camera app.

As far as specs are concerned, the latest rumor suggests that we could be looking at a 4.5-inch 854×480 display. It will also be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM, and it could also launch in mid-April which seems to be in line with the recent rumored 19th April event.
