moto e leakedJust the other day, it seems that whoever was managing Motorola Mexico’s Facebook page got a bit eager and posted a photo of what appeared to be the Moto E handset pictured next to its supposed predecessor, the Moto G. The photo was hardly the clearest but thanks to a Brazilian retailer by the name of Fast Shop, press renderings of the handset have surfaced.

The retailer had listed the handset on its website, presumably earlier than Motorola would have liked. The page has since been removed and the listing taken down, but not before photos of the handset were saved. So far it seems that there’s nothing new we haven’t already seen, thanks to the previously leaked photo, except that this image is much clearer and cleaner.

The website even posted a list of the handset’s specs which we’re not sure if it is the real deal, or if it could just be speculation on their part. However based on the listing, the Moto E is said to pack a 4.3-inch display, a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage, and a 1,980mAh battery with support for dual SIM cards.

The phone is said to allow for memory expansion via microSD and will feature a 5MP rear-facing camera. There’s also an interesting design on the front of the phone which shows off two grills. One is presumably for listening to calls, while the other could possibly act as the phone’s speakers.

In any case Motorola is said to announce new devices on the 13th of May which is still a couple of days away, so if you’d like to learn more, do check back with us then for the details. In the meantime what do you guys make of the Moto E?
