Football is all the rage these days because the 2014 FIFA World Cup is well underway in Brazil. In line with the spirit of football or soccer Konami has formally announced PES 2015 for PS4 and Xbox One. It says that the title will also be available for “additional formats.” No concrete release date has been announced as yet but Konami says that the game will be available between autumn and winter of 2014.

Bringing the first full implementation of Kojima Productions’ Fox engine in the PES franchise, PES 2015 happens to be the first game in this series for next generation consoles, so says Konami.

Touting over 1000 players PES 2015 for PS4 and Xbox One brings radically improved graphics for the crowd and stadium no doubt aided by the shift to next-gen gaming machines. Konami says that players will notice changing light during the course of a match.

An extensive overhaul of Master League Online leads us to MyClub, which lets players and managers to be brought into the game via collected GP or micro-transactions. Basically what that means is that players will be able to spend real world money to buy in-game players and managers.

PES 2015 will receive weekly updates to adjust transfers and team lineups to keep them in line with the real world, this is much like FIFA 2014, which is available for both previous-gen and next-gen consoles. A few screenshots have been released as well though Konami is yet to publish an official gameplay trailer.
