htc-flagship-mwcNow that the dust from CES 2015 is settled and done with, it is time to look forward to the next big tech conference – or rather, at least one that is associated with it, and Mobile World Congress would normally be the next one on most people’s lists. Happening in Barcelona again this year, Mobile World Congress is where some companies would take the opportunity to release their latest handsets, and it looks as though HTC of Taiwan is no exception. In fact, HTC has already sent out an e-mail that will make mention of a March 1st event.

March 1st happens to be a day before Mobile World Congress kicks off officially, and chances are this very own event of HTC would be the platform for the Taiwan-based company to introduce their next flagship smartphone. After all, based on the company’s product release history, the HTC One (M8) was unveiled to the masses in March 25th last year, before it hit the market shortly afterward.

Do bear in mind that the invitation which ended up in select inboxes did not point to anything other than a “utopia in progress” line, where there is a background that is full of stars – perhaps sending out a message to Samsung that their “galaxy” might see a threat?
