If you have ever bought something online before, sometimes you are able to track that package via the delivery company’s website. However if you have an Android device, Google Now will also be able to display the package’s tracking information on your phone at a glance. The good news is that it looks like Microsoft will be bringing that feature to their mobile devices.
According to a recent tweet by Microsoft follower Nawzil, it seems that Cortana for Windows 10 on mobile devices has gained the ability to track your packages, although Nawzil notes that users will not be able to add that information to their Notebook just yet. As you can see, the feature is pretty straightforward although Nawzil did not mention how one can activate that feature so hopefully we will learn about that soon.
It’s not a particularly exciting feature but for users who buy a lot of things online and would rather not have to load up different tracking websites, this feature of Cortana’s should be able to act as a hub for all your package delivery information. Hopefully in the future additional features will be added, such as the ability to receive notifications when a package’s shipping status has changed, but in the meantime we guess this will do.
