For those who are into the wearables scene, you might have heard of Misfit, the company behind fitness trackers such as the Misfit Shine and the Misfit Flash, just to name a few. The trackers came with an accompanying Misfit app that helps to log the data and present the information to the user.

The good news for Misfit users is that it looks like the app has been given a design overhaul. The company has recently announced Misfit 2.0 which is the latest version of the app available to users at the moment. Like we said the design is one of the more notable changes the company has made to the app, but they have thrown in other features that might come in handy for users as well.

For example syncing has become more straightforward with iOS users simply swiping left when opening the app, and Android users swiping down. The new UI has also made it easier for users to see their friends and accept friend requests. Battery life viewing for your wearables has also been made easier along with customization within the app itself.

As for Misfit Flash users, the Misfit 2.0 app will now allow your wearable to control your Spotify playback as well as send Yo messages to your friends simply by tapping the wearable. If you’ve yet to update your app, hit up the iTunes App Store or Google Play for the download.
