It has been a while since Microsoft has launched some new devices, particularly smartphones, and now that the company is almost done with the public launch of Windows 10 it’s time now that it shifted its attention to hardware. That’s precisely what it appears to be doing as it has been announced today that the company is going to unveil “new Windows 10 devices” on September 4th, the keynote will be during the IFA 2015 convention in Berlin.

Nick Parker, corporate vice president OEM Division at Microsoft will deliver a keynote at IFA 2015 titled “Windows 10 Lights Up New Devices.”

It has been confirmed that during the keynote Parker is going to demonstrate “a breadth of new Windows 10 devices” which includes tablets, 2-in-1s, premium notebooks, gaming devices and all-in-ones that will significantly improve the Windows 10 experience for customers.

Microsoft’s international keynote has been scheduled for Friday, September 4th at 3 pm and it will take place at the CityCube event hall on the Messe Merlin fairgrounds in Berlin, Germany.

Perhaps during this keynote the company will finally unveil its new Lumia handsets that we frequently hear about. Microsoft is expected to launch two new high-end Lumia flagships this year called Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL.

The IFA stage already plays host to many device launches so the new Lumia handsets will certainly not be out of place during the convention.
