bing-snake-gameDiscovering easter eggs in software can be fun and in many ways entertaining. For example Google has a endless runner game in Chrome that gamers can play when they’re not connected to the internet, thus letting you kill some time, and now it has recently been discovered that Bing has something similar too.

According to Twitter user David Flink (via Windows Central), it seems that if you search for “snake game” in Bing, you will be greeted by the screenshot above in which you will actually be able to play the Snake game inside your browser. Of course unlike Google’s endless runner easter egg, this will require you to have an internet connection.

Users will be able to use their arrow keys on the keyboard to control the snake and try to rack up as high a score as possible. However don’t expect it to save your high score but if you’re looking for a quick and easy way to have fun, then perhaps this might be a game you might want to check out, especially if you grew up playing the game in which it will be rather nostalgic.

However it should be noted that this easter egg does not seem to be available for all regions. I have tested this from my connection in Malaysia and my results are just listings for the snake game, as opposed to the easter egg you see above, so if you’re not from the US, you can still give it a try anyway.
