twitter-likeTwitter or Facebook? This is a question that has often been asked when it comes to making sure you are heard over the Internet, as some folks prefer to express themselves in 140 characters or less last time, while others preferred a far more detailed page on their lives. Well, the majority out there will say that both are equally important, and have their uses. Word on the street has it that Twitter might want to follow in Facebook’s footsteps, with the favorite feature for Twitter getting a change to “Like” down the road.

There is also a manipulated image that intends to show just how the feature would look after this move is implemented, although it remains unknown as to whether the star icon will be changed. So far, the language on the Twitter support site has mentioned clearly that when one favorites a tweet, users will know that you like it. Perhaps this move might make it even more of a no-brainer.

It remains unknown as to when such a feature will be pushed live across the platform, although Twitter has remained mum on the situation. Do you think that this would happen? Sounds as though Twitter might actually lose some of its character to me if it does make the switch.
