Acer today announced the Iconia Tab 10, it’s a relatively affordable tablet that’s powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The tablet is aimed at customers who don’t want to spend too much on a slate but would like to have the latest software available to them. Those who are looking for a more powerful tablet that can get more work done will have to look elsewhere.

The Acer Iconia Tab 10 features a 10-inch full HD IPS display and has a MediaTek MT8163A 64 bit quadcore processor under the hood. Acer says that the processor coupled with 2GB RAM provides enough kick for games, browsing and watching videos.

Coming in at 259 x 167 x 8.9mm, the tablet also features 32GB internal storage with microSD card support, four front-facing speakers powered by Dolby DTS-HD Premium Sound technology. Acer didn’t say how big the battery is but it claims that the battery will be enough for eight hours.

Acer Iconia Tab 10 comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera with autofocus as well as a 2 megapixel front camera for video conferencing. One of its biggest selling features is Android 6.0 Marshmallow which comes preinstalled on the device.

The company is yet to confirm if and when this device will make it to other markets across the globe, it has been launched for Europe only right now with a price tag of £179.99.
