htc 10While the HTC 10 isn’t exactly 2016’s most popular phone, we can only assume that as long as HTC is in the smartphone game that we can expect a HTC 11 next year, or whatever HTC plans on calling their next smartphone. So far rumors about the device have been non-existent, at least until now.

With reports coming out of China, it looks like we might have a rough idea of what to expect. According to the rumors, the HTC 11 will feature a 5.5-inch QHD curved display, and it is also expected to feature a 12MP rear-facing camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. Other than that not much else is known.

That being said, the curved screen probably isn’t too surprising. While Samsung might have cornered the market on that for the past couple of years, recently Xiaomi unveiled their own take with the Mi Note 2, which means that other OEMs are probably not too far behind. Maintaining a QHD display is also not surprising since 4K displays in smartphones have yet to catch on.

Other than that, the cameras aren’t much to shout about, but then again we don’t know what kind of features HTC could be packing. We can also assume that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 chipset will be used, but until we get more information, take it all with a grain of salt for now.
