So we know for sure that the OnePlus 5 is in the works and that it will be officially announced next week. Also so far based on the tweets, the design of the phone has been revealed and it appears that the phone will be packing a dual camera setup and in a recent post on Weibo by the company’s CEO (via Android Headlines), we have an idea of what to expect in terms of quality.

From what we can tell from the photo, it seems that the camera is capable of snapping some pretty sharp photos. We’re not sure if there has been any further editing or enhancements made to the photo following its capture, but for now it looks pretty good. There is also nice separation of the foreground and background, which presumably is thanks to its dual camera system.

Unfortunately in terms of megapixels and resolution, those details are still a mystery as the image uploaded has been stripped of its EXIF data, presumably on purpose so as not to give all the secrets away, although we did hear that the sensor could be of the 16MP variety, but take that with a grain of salt for now.

There is a bit of excitement surrounding the handset at the moment as it could be the company’s most powerful device to date, not to mention its most expensive as we have heard that it could see an increase in price over the previous model.
