With the upcoming release of the Microsoft Xbox One X, there will finally be a console that will be able to deliver on “true” 4K gaming, which is pretty exciting news if you’ve already prepared yourself and have gotten the necessary hardware. However if you haven’t, not to worry because Samsung has you covered.

Samsung has recently announced that they will be teaming up with Xbox in an exclusive marketing effort to help promote the company’s QLED TVs and also to be the official 4K TV partner for the Xbox One X. Of course this doesn’t mean that you can’t use other 4K TVs with the Xbox One X, it’s just that maybe the use of Samsung’s TVs could offer up a potentially better experience.

According to Mike Nichols, Corporate Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Xbox, “Xbox One X will bring true 4K gaming to console players for the first time with 40 percent more power than any other console. Samsung’s QLED 4K TV is our favorite way to play Xbox One X, and we’re thrilled to join forces with Samsung in the U.S. to deliver immersive 4K gaming experiences to our fans.”

Now this isn’t quite the 4K TV and Xbox One X TV bundles that we have been hoping for, but we suppose if you need some TV recommendations for the Xbox One X and have the budget for it, Samsung’s TVs could be an option.
