Following the launch of games like Miitomo and Super Mario Run, last year Nintendo announced that the next titles that would arrive for mobile would be Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem. It was then reported that Animal Crossing would be delayed to 2018, but the good news is that it doesn’t look like that’s the case anymore.

Nintendo has recently announced that the next mobile title they’ll be releasing will be Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and it is scheduled to arrive on iOS devices next month, meaning that gamers won’t have to wait until 2018 to play it. We’re not sure what happened to the supposed delay, but hey we won’t complain about a good thing!

According to Nintendo’s description of the game, “Get back to nature in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the new Animal Crossing mobile game where you take on the role of campsite manager! You’re in charge, so you can decorate your own campsite however you like! Make it fun, make it cute, make it sporty—it’s up to you to craft the kind of furniture and amenities that will make your camp a must-see for animals visiting the area.”

There is currently no specific release date set yet but it is expected to be November.
