Stellaris is a very popular strategy game available on the PC and those who have experienced it on the platform will now be delighted to find out that it will soon be released for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. Published by Paradox Interactive, the title is a grand strategy game with space exploration at its root. The game was initially launched on PC back in 2016.

The publisher has confirmed at Gamescom 2018 that Stellaris, which was released for PC back in 2016, is going to be released for the Xbox One soon as well. The title will be making its way to the PlayStation 4 as well in due course. It’s the first grand strategy experience to land on consoles.

Stellaris: Console Edition has been prepared keeping thumbstick input in mind. This means that the gameplay will be adapted to console controls and the title won’t feel out of place on both platforms.

A few versions of the title will be available for purchase when it goes on sale. The deluxe version will include access to upcoming expansions. The game itself will receive timely updates which will add new features and enhancements.

A release date has not yet been confirmed. Paradox Interactive has only said that it’s going to release this title for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
