For those who enjoy AMC’s The Walking Dead TV series, or the original comic series, chances are you might have heard or even played Telltale’s The Walking Dead series of video games. The good news is that while they might be late to the party, Telltale has announced and confirmed the availability of the first season of the game on the Nintendo Switch.

Prior to this, the first season was available on pretty much all platforms save for the Switch, but given the console’s popularity, it’s not surprising to see the game make its way onto Nintendo’s platform. The launch will be for The Complete First Season which will be priced at $20, and this only marks the beginning for the rest of the other games in the series.

The Complete First Season will include the first season of the game which will contain five episodes, and also the 400 Days add-on. The release is expected to feature upgraded graphics and performance as well, so Switch gamers can look forward to that. Season Two and A New Frontier are also expected to launch on the Switch later this year.

Note that the series does contain some side stories that aren’t part of the main seasons, but it is unclear if we will be seeing those launched on the Switch as well. That being said, The Walking Dead: The Final Season was launched on the Switch a couple of weeks ago, which means that if you’d rather play the entire series from the beginning, you can now do so before making your way to the last season.
