As far as indie games are concerned, Hollow Knight is one of the more popular titles that have been released to date. The game was originally released on the PC followed by Linux back in 2017, and a few months ago it was also announced for the Nintendo Switch. The good news is that if you are a PS4 or Xbox One gamer, it looks like the game will be headed onto both platforms as well.

According to the announcement by Team Cherry, “Gang! We’re hugely excited to reveal Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition, arriving digitally, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players on September 25th! You asked for it, and with the help of Sony and Microsoft (and our buds Shark Jump on porting duty) it’s all happening!”

Dubbed the Voidheart Edition, this will feature the original game along with four content packs that will offer players new quests, new boss fights, new abilities, and more. As the developers note, the game will go live on the 25th of September so if you are interested in getting it, you’ll probably want to mark those dates down. Pre-orders are live for certain regions for PS4 owners, and there will also be a 20% discount for those who are PlayStation Plus subscribers.
