Microsoft recently started sending out invites for an upcoming Surface event on October 2nd. The company is expected to unveil new Surface devices at the event. Microsoft is also sending invites to some members of its Windows Insiders program this time around, they will be able to attend its next hardware event in the coming month.

This privilege isn’t obviously being extended to all members of the Windows Insiders program, because there are too many of them, only a select few will be invited to attend the event next month. The Insider event will take place from 2 pm to 7 pm and will start out at Tortilla Flats on Washington St.

The proceedings will then move over to Industria Studios where Microsoft’s press event for the day will begin at 4 pm. That’s where Microsoft is going to unveil all of the new Surface products that it has in the pipeline.

The company hasn’t provided any major hints about the new products that we can expect at this event. Reports suggest that Microsoft will be unveiling a refreshed Surface Pro lineup in addition to new models of the Surface Laptop and the Surface Studio. It may even provide information about the release of the next major update for Windows 10 and the features that it’s supposed to bring.
