Epic’s Fortnite is a free-to-play game, where you can download the game for free and you can purchase in-game items such as cosmetics. However it seems that the folks at Epic are now trying their hand at releasing the game in physical form, where they plan to making it available for $30 as part of the Deep Freeze Bundle.

Now you might be thinking that $30 for a game that you can download for free doesn’t make sense, and you would be right. However it seems that this bundle will contain not only the game, but also a bunch of in-game items, so in a way you’d be sort of pre-purchasing in-game items upfront.

The bundle will include a copy of the game and the Frostbite Outfit, Cold Front Glider, Chill-Axe Pickaxe, and Freezing Point Back Bling. There will also be an additional 1,000 V-Bucks (the game’s in-game currency used to purchase cosmetics) which itself is worth $10, so in a way you’d sort of be getting your money’s worth.

The Fortnite: Deep Freeze Bundle is expected to be available on the 13th of November where it will be available on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and the Xbox One, so if this sounds like a bundle you might be interested it, it will be available for purchase starting next month.
