Flash drives are useful little gadgets because they’re small which means that taking it with you on the go is easy. Some are small enough to fit into pockets and on keychains, but the problem with being so small is that they can be easily stolen, lost, or misplaced. This can be disastrous if you have sensitive information on it.

However it seems that Lexar might have something for you if you’re looking for additional security on your flash drive. The company has recently announced the Lexar JumpDrive Fingerprint F35 USB 3.0 flash drive which as the name implies, is a flash drive that comes with a fingerprint sensor, meaning that users can protect their files using biometric security.

According to Joel Boquiren, Director of Global Marketing, “The F35 combines reliable and secure data storage with biometric technology to prevent unauthorized access to your files – adding an extra layer of security for your drive by using fingerprint authentication. It is ideal for business professionals and photographers who require high-privacy protection to meet their needs.”

The F35 will also feature 256-bit AES encryption and will be compatible with both Windows and Mac computers. There will also be varying sizes, starting at 32GB which will be priced at $33, 64GB at $50, 128GB for $90, and the 256GB model will cost $170.
