lg v40In our review of the LG V40, we found that the camera on the phone was one of the handset’s stronger features. However if you think that the camera is still lacking or could stand to do with some improvements, your wish might have come true as LG has since released an update for the phone.

The update will introduce more camera improvements to the handset. By “more” what we mean is that just earlier this week, LG had released another update that was also focused on improving the camera of the handset. This time, the update seems to focus on improving the HDR performance of the camera, as well as boosting sharpness and color improvements for outdoor photos.

There will also be improvements made to the autofocus for the Triple Shot mode, along with “Black phenomenon of video recording”. Like we said, the camera’s performance of the LG V40 was one of the things we liked about the phone, but at the same time it’s good to know that LG isn’t resting on their laurels and is doing what they can to continue improving on it.

With smartphone cameras these days improving their camera capabilities by leaps and bounds, and with companies like Samsung pushing the limits with the Galaxy A9 and its quad-camera setup, these updates are no doubt a much welcome one by LG V40 owners.
