OnePlus has been steadily teasing the OnePlus 6T, but the company has yet to officially confirm an announcement date. Last we heard it could be set for an announcement on the 17th of October, but it looks like that could change. OnePlus recently tweeted a teaser image of what we can assume is the OnePlus 6T, along with a message that hints that the phone could be announced on Monday.

It is possible that the announcement might not necessarily be for the OnePlus 6T, although judging by the teaser image it’s hard to imagine what else it could be about. It is also possible that the announcement could be to set a launch date for the phone, which for all we know could still be for the 17th of October. In any case we’ll have to wait and find out.

So far OnePlus has not been shy at sharing various details about the phone, such as how it will be packing an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is also expected to ditch the headphone jack in favor of a larger battery and the fingerprint sensor. Other than that it’s safe to assume that given its flagship status we can expect to see the Snapdragon 845 chipset along with 6-8GB of RAM. Like we said an announcement has been teased in the next 24 hours so we should have some details pretty soon.
