There will be two storyline expansions for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the first of which is going to be released next week. It has been confirmed that the title’s first DLC episode called Legacy of the First Blade is going to be released on December 4th. The DLC episode is going to be released for this title on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
The DLC episode introduces Darius to the mix who is the first recorded wielder of a Hidden Blade and the infamous assassin of the Persian king Xerxes. The DLC will dive deeper into the beginnings of the Assassin Brotherhood while also adding new abilities for players to unlock and gear to earn.
Players will be up against new enemies in this episode and also take part in naval combat. It will be possible to customize equipment like it is in the main game. Players will go through this entire process to discover whether Darius is a villain or a hero.
A second episodic story arc for the game is scheduled to arrive later in 2019. It’s called The Fate of Atlantis. This expansion will delve into Greek mythology with players setting on a quest to save the sunken city.
Legacy of the First Blade will be available for purchase on December 4th.
