Fossil has made many Wear OS (Android Wear) smartwatches in the past and it’s now taking another crack at it. The company today announced the launch of its Sport smartwatch. The new wearable device is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor and runs Google’s Wear OS. The Sport smartwatch is being offered in 41mm and 43mm sizes.

The company hasn’t provided details about the display size or the resolution but we can see that it has a circular display. It did confirm that the Fossil Sport will feature heart rate tracking and NFC which will allow users to make payments using the device.

It even has an integrated GPS within its swimproof body. The company says that the 350mAh battery should provide all-day battery life. The Spotify app is pre-installed for those who like to stream music on their smartwatches.

This is one of the first smartwatches to come with Qualcomm’s new processor for wearable devices which promises performance and power efficiency improvements. All of the features that are part and parcel of Wear OS are available on this smartwatch. Fossil is selling the Sport smartwatch starting today for $255 online and through its retail locations. The watch is available in six different colors with a wide variety of straps.
