As many of you will be well aware by now, Sony offers PlayStation Plus subscribers a handful of free games every month as part of their subscription. It’s something that Microsoft does as well for members of its Xbox Live Gold program. The company normally confirms the list for the upcoming month a few days earlier. Sony today confirmed the list of free PlayStation Plus games for December 2018.

The sci-fi horror game Soma from Fictional Games is the first on the list for the PlayStation 4. The title is an “unsettling story about identity, consciousness, and what it means to be human.” It will have players going through locked terminals and secret documents to uncover the truth.

The all-action racing game Onrush is also free for PS4 next month. Players will drive on the very limits of control in order to clinch a victory for their team. The game is full of action and offers many unlockable customization options.

PlayStation Plus members with a PS4 get Steredenn and Steinsgate for free. PS Vita owners get Papers, Please and Iconoclasts for free, the latter being cross-buy eligible with the PlayStation 4.

All of these games will be available as a free download for PlayStation Plus members starting December 4th, 2018 through January 1st, 2019.
