Racing games aren’t new, especially racing games that are comprised of using characters from various video game franchises. Nintendo’s Mario Kart is a good example of that, and so is the Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. Some of you might even recall that back in 1999, Sony and Naughty Dog launched Crash Team Racing.

For those who enjoyed the game, you might be interested to learn that a remake of the game could be on its way. This is according to a recent tweet by PlayStation Access present Hollie Bennett in which she shared a photo of what appears to be a pair of furry dice that one might typically hang from their car’s rear-view mirror.

According to Eurogamer, it seems that they believe that the teaser is real and that Activision could be gearing up to announce a remake of the game at the upcoming “The Game Awards” show which is scheduled for the the 7th of December. Details are scarce at this point in time, such as whether or not the game could be an exclusive to the PlayStation like the original.

However when you consider the fact that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has been launched on multiple platforms, there is some hope that this could also be the case with the Crash Team Racing remake. Take it with a grain of salt but check back with us later this week for the details.
