Samsung recently confirmed that it will unveil the Galaxy A8s on December 10th. The Galaxy A8s is Samsung’s first smartphone with a camera hole. It replaces the notch with a hole in the actual display for the front camera. Samsung will launch its device a few days before Huawei comes out with its contender but it appears that Lenovo will beat them both.
Lenovo is believed to have a new smartphone in the pipeline that also has a punch hole display. This means that the handset’s camera will be positioned in a hole that’s drilled into the actual display panel. Unlike the Samsung and Huawei devices, the Lenovo Z5s will have this hole in the center at the top.
Chinese giant has posted a teaser on its official Weibo account which suggests that this might be the case with the Lenovo Z5s. It also mentions that a launch event has been scheduled for tomorrow, December 6th.
This means that Lenovo will be able to unveil this device even before Samsung and Huawei show off theirs. As far as the specs are concerned, the Lenovo Z5s is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor with a triple rear camera and a 6.3 inch FHD+ resolution display.
