#CES2019 – Wireless Bluetooth speakers are becoming increasingly common these days. This is largely thanks to the fact that handset manufacturers have started to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack, which means that customers are in greater need of wireless audio more so than ever.

For those shopping about for a new set of wireless speakers, then you might be pleased to learn that JBL is back at CES 2019 this year with more wireless options for you. The company has recently announced the JBL Flip 5 which is the company’s latest wireless speaker. This speaker is also waterproof and packaged into a durable case which means that if you wanted to take the speakers with you on the go while you’re hiking or camping or to the beach, you won’t have to worry about it getting wet or dropping it.

According to JBL, the Flip 5 will also feature a newly-engineered racetrack-shaped driver with an increased cone area. It also boasts a battery life of about 12 hours and will use a USB-C port for charging. There will also be a built-in speakerphone feature so you can use it to make calls or video chats without any issue.

In terms of pricing, the JBL Flip 5 will be priced at $100 and will be available this spring where there will be 11 color options for users to choose from.
