#CES2019 – Razer started out as a company that was mostly known for its gaming peripherals. However in recent times the company has expanded their offerings to speakers, headphones, laptops, and more. Now it looks like we have another product to add to Razer’s lineup in the form of monitors.

The company has announced the Razer Raptor Gaming Monitor which will feature a 27-inch WQHD (2560×1440) IPS edge-to-edge display and a 144Hz refresh rate It will also sport incredibly thin bezels at 2.3mm, and will also adopt AMD’s Radeon FreeSync technology that should help sync up frame rates and prevent ghosting.

As expected given that this is a Razer product, the company will be incorporating the use of its Chroma lighting system which can be found in the base of the monitor.  This means that the lighting system should be able to sync up with your games and your other settings. The Raptor Gaming Monitor will also feature a host of connectivity options including HDMI, DP 1.4, USB-C, and USB 3.0.

As for pricing and availability, the Razer Raptor Gaming Monitor is priced at $700 and is expected to be made available later on in the year. No specific dates were mentioned so it might be a while coming.
