Learning a new language can be fun, but we imagine that attending classes or reading a book can be a bit boring. However there is some good news for those looking to learn a new language. There is a Chrome extension which when installed, will help users learn a new language while watching their favorite Netflix show.

How this works is that as you watch the show, the extension will translate the show into subtitles into the language you’re trying to learn, alongside subtitles of your native language, so that you can get an idea of what means what. Users will be able to choose between human or machine translations, and they can also opt to slow down dialogue if they feel that it is going too fast.

The extension will also be able to highlight words that they think are important for users to learn, and can also set aside more complicated ones that can be learned at a later date. This means that in terms of just getting the hang of the language and its grammatical structure, this will be useful as it won’t bog the user down with huge words that they’ll struggle to try to remember.

The extension, known as LLN, is available for free via the Chrome Web Store, so head on over if you’d like to install it and start learning a new language.
