Apple will be hosting an event this Monday where they are expected to launch its new video streaming service. In addition to video, Apple is also rumored to launch a news and magazine service, but that’s not all. According to a report from Bloomberg, it seems that Apple could also launch a new gaming service.

It will be similar to Apple’s other services where users will pay a flat rate subscription where they will then be able to access a bunch of paid games. It is unclear as to what kind of games will be offered, the report adds that these will be paid games and that freemium titles will not be included.

For example there are games that are free to play but also offered paid services, like Super Mario Run where gamers can pay a fee to unlock the game in full. The report also goes on to add how the fees will be split between developers, where titles that perform well and are played a lot will get a bigger cut.

In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but we should have all the official details soon enough to be sure to check back with us this coming Monday where Apple could unveil it in full.
