Rainbow Six Siege players have been waiting for Operation Burnt Horizon to arrive ever since the new patch landed on the Technical Test Server two weeks ago. It has definitely been a considerable wait for them and they will be happy to know now that Operation Burnt Horizon will be rolling out to players tomorrow, March 6th.

The full patch notes mention that Operation Burnt Horizon brings two new Aussie operators, Gridlock and Mozzie. Season Pass owners will be able to unlock these Operators immediately and get exclusive access for seven days. Once these seven days are up, all players will be able to unlock these Operators with Renown or R6 credits.

Outback is the new map that’s included in this release. It pays homage to the Australian outback and all of the lonely service stations and motels that run along the forgotten highways. Ubisoft mentions that fan-favorite Oregon and Clubhouse naps were the inspiration when designing the 21st map of the game.

The Outback map is divided into three separate sections – the Garage, Motel, and Restaurant. Much effort has been put during the development process to ensure that each of the sections is easily recognizable even from a distance. The gameplay style is similar to what players have already been used to. There will be only one door between each of the sections with roamers being able to create new paths by destroying walls.

The patch also brings several bug fixes for the game and will be used to consolidate the file size of the Rainbow Six Siege which is at a massive 81GB currently.
