Given how much time we spend on our phones, it’s not surprising that in the past few years, Google has been turning their sights towards creating a richer experience with Google Search on our phones. That being said, it seems that Google has recently rolled out a few major updates to Google Search on mobile that will make it more informative than ever.

As reported by Android Police, it seems that these changes are applied to features like the weather, where Google has updated the card with more fun-looking graphics, versus the previous version which felt a bit more dull. They have also updated the sports card feature where it will provide users with more extensive stats and information about athletes.

It also appears that they have made some changes to movies, TVs, and games where they are making it easier to discover new content. For example, if you search for a particular movie or TV show, it will show you other shows that are similar or shows that are similar but only available on a particular platform, such as Netflix.

These changes are pretty extensive and it appears to be a server-side change, meaning that users won’t need to do anything on their ends. So if you search on Google next time using your phone and notice some changes, don’t be surprised.
