HP has come out with the biggest Chromebook it has ever made. As the name suggests, the HP Chromebook 15 has a 15 inch touchscreen display with a full-size keyboard and number pad. It joins the likes of ASUS and Lenovo that have also released 15 inch notebooks that are powered by Google’s cloud-based Chrome OS.

HP has confirmed that prices for the Chromebook 15 start at $449. Under the hood you get an Intel Pentium Gold 4417U processor with 4GB of DDR5 RAM and 64GB of storage. It also has B&O dual speakers, an HD webcam, and a backlit keyboard.

Connectivity options include 802.11ac Wi-Fi, a microSD card slot, 2 USB 3.1 ports and one USB 3.1 port, etc. The company says that it’s good for up to 13 hours of battery life on a single charge but your mileage may vary in the real world.

Weighing just 4 pounds and starting at $449, the HP Chromebook 15 is now available in the United States. The company is yet to confirm when it’s going to release this device in other markets across the globe. This is going to be a great option for customers who are in the market for a new Chromebook and would like one that has a significantly larger display than most of the other available models.
