Respawn Entertainment has finally revealed some more details about the Star Wars title that it has been working on. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is going to be released later this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The title promises to bring “intense” lightsaber battles which is something that many fans of the franchise can appreciate.

The game is set after the events of Revenge of the Sith when the Jedi are largely missing from the universe. According to Respawn, the game will be single-player and story-driven while focusing on Force abilities and lightsaber battles. The story will revolve around a young padawan named Cal Kestis who managed to escape the Jedi cull and is now trying to stay alive while he completes his training.

Players will meet the protagonist on Bracca which is a new Star Wars planet and one of the several new locations introduced in the game. Cal hides from the Empire in plain sight but is forced to go on the run when he exposes his Force abilities. Cal is relentlessly being pursued by the Empire’s Second Sister and her Purge Troopers who seek to eliminate the surviving Jedi.

Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is going to be released on November 15th, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
