Despite Apple’s AirPods not necessarily offering up the best battery life nor the best sound quality, they seem to be massively popular. Part of the appeal, we imagine, is how it can seamlessly pair with Apple’s iOS devices. This is versus regular Bluetooth headphones where sometimes the connection can just drop out of the blue.

Unfortunately, Apple’s AirPods do not come cheap and if you don’t think you can justify paying over $100 for them, not to worry because Skullcandy is here. Dubbed the Skullcandy Indy, these are a set of true wireless earbuds that could potentially challenge the AirPods, thanks largely to its asking price of $80.

Granted it will not offer the same seamless wireless connection as the AirPods, but if you’ve no issues with using Bluetooth headphones or speakers, then this should more or less provide the same experience. The Indy headphones will provide users with about 4 hours of battery life and the charging case can recharge it an additional three times, bringing the total number of hours to 16.

There are also built-in touch controls for taking calls, changing tracks, and adjusting volume. If this sounds like a set of headphones you wouldn’t mind getting your hands on, then head on over to Skullcandy’s website for the details.
