George R.R. Martin is one of the biggest fantasy authors on the planet and he’s collaborating with another big name in this genre for a new game. Martin and FromSoftware are working on a new game, according to a leak, and this title may be unveiled officially at E3 2019. The new game from Martin and Dark Souls studio FromSoftware is called Elden Ring.
Not much is known about this title right now aside from its name. No further details are available so it’s unclear what the plot is going to be and what the gameplay is going to look like. We may not have to wait long for this information as the official E3 reveal isn’t that far off.
Given the names behind this project, it can reasonably be assumed that this is going to be a fantasy game. What is known at this point in time is that Elden Ring will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Bandai Namco is going to publish it.
FromSoftware is well regarded for the work that it has done over the years. It’s behind popular titles such as Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, and Bloodborne. Expect Microsoft to talk more about the title during its E3 2019 press conference later today.
